TRAGIC Baby P's mother's plans for a new life after jail came under attack yesterday.
Her lawyers fear her life would be at risk if she was identified after her release - but a new ID and lifelong protection would cost taxpayers millions.
Her legal team could use human rights laws to ensure she remains anonymous for life.
The 27-year-old, who has four other children, is awaiting sentence after admitting failing to prevent or causing her 17-month-old son's horrific torture death.
She, her 32-year-old boyfriend and their lodger Jason Owen, 36, who were both convicted of the same charge, have been warned they face long jail terms.
Tory MP Andrew Rosindell said he realised there would be "hatred" towards the woman but insisted there should be no decision on a new ID until she had spent years behind bars.
A court has heard how the evil mum viewed internet porn while her helpless tot was battered in a filthy London flat. She will be sentenced on December 15.
Rosindell said: "Hopefully it will be many years before these people are considered for release, if they ever are.
"Planning for release is not something we should be doing now."
