Tory poll puts Boris top

BORIS JOHNSON is more popular than party leader David Cameron among Tory voters according to a poll.

The gaffe-prone Mayor of London got an approval rating of 86 per cent in an online survey while Cameron could only muster 83 per cent.

Meanwhile, Scottish Tory leader Annabel Goldie MSP yesterday declared hers was "the only party left in Scotland capable of defending the Union".
