Sarah Palin makes grab for disgruntled Hillary Clinton voters

WHITE House hopeful Sarah Palin said Barack Obama must regret snubbing Hillary Clinton as his No.2.

The republican vicepresidential candidate said Clinton, 51, had shown "determination and grit and even grace" in her fight to win the Democrat nomination.

Obama, 47, chose Joe Biden, 56, instead.

Palin, 42, told TV: "I think he's regretting not picking her now."

Critics say the interview exposed the Alaskan governor's inexperience.

But Presidential candidate John McCain hopes she will attract female voters.

The Obama camp have targeted 71-year-old McCain in a new TV ad which shows him in the early 1980s in big glasses.

Other images include a disco ball, clunky phone and a Rubik's Cube. A voiceover then adds: "Things have changed in the last 26 years - but McCain hasn't."
