Christine Brinkley's wife-swapping accusations at divorce battle

FORMER model Christie Brinkley has accused her husband of trying to take her to wife-swapping parties.

Brinkley, 54, is to make the accusations against architect Peter Cook, her fourth husband, at a public divorce hearing, court papers reveal.

The model - whose second husband, Billy Joel, wrote one of his biggest hits, Uptown Girl, for her - filed for divorce after learning of Cook's affair with a teenage girl.

He wanted to keep the hearing in New York private but a judge turned down his application.

Brinkley, who has a daughter, Alexa, 22, from her marriage to Joel, also accuses Cook of surfing porn websites, including "swinging" sites.

She learned two years ago that he was cheating on her with his assistant Diana Bianchi, 19.

Brinkley's lawyer, Robert Cohen, said Cook's affair was only the "tip of the iceberg" and the divorce should be aired in public to restore her reputation.

He said: "So much of what's out there is based on rumours and innuendo.

"The truth will come out and the way to do it is a public trial.

"It's going to be out there no matter what, so what's out there should be the truth. The unfiltered truth."
