MORE than 600 rail passengers endured a journey from hell yesterday after taking 10 hours to get to Paris.
Eurostar blamed a "series of technical incidents" for the delay to the trip, which normally takes just over two hours.
It was due to leave London at 20.05pm last night, arriving at Gare du Nord at 23.36 French time.
But the 643 passengers finally arrived in Paris at 9.10am yesterday, after changing trains twice.
A Eurostar spokesman said an investigation into the delay was under way.
He said: "We apologise profusely to travellers for the unacceptable delay.
"We are offering everyone on board a full refund on both legs of their return tickets and a free return ticket for future use."
