Russians Show Blonde Ambition With New Political Party

RUSSIAN blondes are to form their own political party in a bid to take over the Kremlin.

Organisers say the Party of Blondes will have as many as 50,000 members in weeks and their ambition is to take on Russian president Dmitri Medvedev in 2012 elections.

Party general secretary Marina Voloshinova - a brunette - said: "We will try to have a beautiful blondes as representatives. Men will vote for a beautiful woman, but we have to convince them she is not only beautiful but also clever and a good leader."
