Russell was ten minutes away from his 22nd birthday when he was killed in a fireball crash.
Russell and best friend Steven Reid, 19, died when their pal Michael Mason's Vauxhall Vectra hit a bus on the A93 Aberdeen to Banchory road in April 2004.

He was cremated with the birthday presents his parents never got a chance to give him.
Driver Mason was jailed for five years for causing death by dangerous driving and for driving without insurance or a license.
