Stop The Carnage - Ruaraidh Potts

Ruaraidh was 18 when he died in a drunk friend's Land Rover after accepting a lift home from a party.

Ruaraidh, an only child, was killed when the vehicle hit a wall, went into a spin and flipped on its roof a few hundred yards from his house in Drumnadrochit, by Loch Ness.

He died instantly in the crash on December 3, 2003

His friend Alexander MacDonald-Haigh, who lived nearby, was three times over the legal limit. He was jailed for three years. He has since been released and started a new life in Australia.
