Stop The Carnage - Ross Haggerty

Ross was 20 when he died in a fireball crash.

Student Ross, a drummer in a band, was a passenger in his friend's car when it hit a lamp post 10 minutes from his home in Busby, near Glasgow in October 2006.

He had to be identified from dental records.  His friend Stephen Christie suffered extensive burns in the smash on Nitshill road on Glasgow, and died seven weeks later.

It was a second tragedy for Ross' mum Margaret Ann who lost his stepbrother Thomas aged 20, in the Gulf War in 1991.
