THE world's biggest insurer AIG are under fire for refusing to pay a second cancer victim's policy.
Once again, they have used the excuse: "Sorry, you've got the wrong type of cancer."
Last week The Judge revealed how 29-year-old bowel cancer sufferer Kelly Brown's claim was dismissed by the firm. Now Henda McDougall, 50, of Tarbert, Argyll, has been told she is only covered for cancers such as breast or ovarian.
The mum of two said: "What's the point in insurance that lets you down when you need it most? I'd be better off with a lottery ticket."
AIG say they will look into Henda's complaint.
Edinburgh South MP Nigel Griffiths said: "It's shocking. I'll be urging the Ombudsman to review the issues very carefully."
