GLASGOW Airport hero John Smeaton is slowly struggling back to health.
But his mum Cathy Smeaton said yesterday he was still in intensive care after an asthma attack left him in a coma for a fortnight. She said: "His progress is very, very slow."
The former baggage handler, 32, collapsed at his parents' house in Erskine, Renfrewshire, hours before two men went on trial for the attack.
He woke from the coma at Paisley Royal Alexandra Hospital on Wednesday.
