A VENGEFUL woman stabbed her uncle's killer after luring him into a garden for sex.
Pauline Johnston, 46, took her chance when she met her cousin John Johnston - who had served a jail term for killing their uncle Calum - at a party.
She promised him sex to persuade him to go with her into the garden - then plunged a kitchen knife in his chest.
Johnston, from Dunveg, near Oban, was originally charged with attempted murder. But the charge was dropped when she admitted assault to severe injury last week at Oban Sheriff Court.
She was was jailed for two and a half years by Sheriff Douglas Small.
Scott Simpson, prosecuting, said: "She used her feminine wiles to get Mr Johnston out into the garden.
"He went there expecting something pleasurable was going to happen.
"She got him to sit on the grass, pushed him back, lay on top of him and straddled him. She then sat up, pulled the kitchen knife from her waistband and plunged it into his chest."
The court heard John Johnston served a nine-year jail sentence for culpable homicide after he admitted killing Calum Johnston.
