Fury as sick new game celebrates bigots' attack on Celtic coach Neil Lennon

BIGOTS have made the street attack on Celtic coach Neil Lennon into a vile computer game.

Players control a huge fist to punch the former Hoops captain in the head on a crudely-designed web page.

Lennon was knocked unconscious outside a Glasgow pub last month.

The game - called Punch Lennon Down Ashton Lane - has been condemned by Old Firm fans.

Andy Kerr, of Rangers Supporters Assembly, said: "No fair-minded, ordinary fan would think this was appropriate."

Jim Kenny, chairman of the Kevin Colhoun Celtic Supporters Club, added: "This game should be banned. Neil has suffered enough victimisation."

The game also features a sick song about the Irish potato famine.

Last month Rangers fans sparked a row by singing the song that includes the line: "The famine's over, why don't you go home?"

Irishman Lennon, 37, has been a target since he joined Celtic in 2000.

He was attacked in Glasgow's west end on September 1. David Whitelaw, 43, has been charged with serious assault.
