TWO brothers fighting for their lives in hospital still do not know their mum died trying to save them.
Angela Brown, 31, got her three-year-old daughter Kassie out of their blazing house.
Then she went back in for sons Kyle, six, and Sean, 12, but was overcome by smoke.
A family friend said yesterday: "Sean is in a medically-induced coma to try to help him recover.
"He and Kyle are not fit enough to be told their mum is dead. It is a real tragedy."
The friend added: "It was typical of Angela to do what she did. She lived for her children." Angela's other two children, Nikki, 15, and Sean's twin Declan, were staying with friends last Sunday when the fire engulfed the family home in Kilwinning, Ayrshire.
Sean and Kyle are being treated in the Sick Children's Hospital in Edinburgh. Kyle's father, George Armstrong, who had split from Angela, is with them.
A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder and two 15-year-old boys with theft.
