GLOATING King Rat Steve McKenzie cut short a luxury holiday to see his ex-wife jailed - only for her court case to be postponed.
Five-times-married fraudster McKenzie was celebrating his own release from prison with a break in Jamaica.
But when he heard Marie Campbell was due to be sentenced he booked the first flight home.
He flew 4000 miles only for a sheriff to put off sentencing Campbell, who admitted a hate campaign against a former lover, for two weeks.
Outside Perth Sheriff Court, smug McKenzie said: "I expect her to be sent to prison and there was no way in the world I would want to miss that.
"Marie made my life hell and it's no surprise that she has been caught behaving in the same way with another boyfriend."
McKenzie, 41, from Glenrothes, Fife, who ripped off a series of women, claimed Campbell, the third of his five wives, left him scarred for life.
And he says he is a reformed character after completing a jail term for frauds totalling £60,000.
"My girlfriend knows everything about my past and we have no secrets," he added.
Campbell, 39, is in custody awaiting sentence for her hate campaign, which included trying to torch her ex's house.
