Billy Connolly's wife takes gal pals to Highland Games
BILLY Connolly's wife Pamela Stephenson took her gal pals to Highland games yesterday - while he was filming abroad.
The Big Yin was working in the Arctic Circle as his missus staged a girls' weekend at the Lonach Gathering near the couple's Highland home.
More than 20 friends - including telly presenters Ulrika Jonsson and June Sarpong - enjoyed the games in Strathdon.
Yesterday was the first time Connolly has missed the event since 1998. One local said: "It was disappointing Billy was away, but the girls were easier on the eye."
