Gangster warned his life is in danger

GANGSTER Ian "Blink" McDonald has been told his life is in danger by cops probing a feud with associates of millionaire security chief Barry "Braveheart" Hughes.

The row - sparked last summer when the pair scrapped in a cafe - has exploded into violence.

Convicted bank robber McDonald, 47 - who was beaten up in Manchester after Rangers UEFA Cup final - has been blamed for slashing Hughes' righthand man Paul Fitzpatrick in Glasgow on May 16.

And last week he was warned he could be targeted in a revenge attack by rival thugs.

Police are trying to stop the tit-for-tat gangland violence spiralling out of control.
