A TOP cricketer who jumped from a window during a police raid is set to quit Scotland after his visa was revoked.
Glasgow High Kelvinside batsman Shahid Hameed was in hospital yesterday after he was hurt fleeing his home.
He suffered multiple fractures when he leapt 12ft from the room in Pollokshields, Glasgow.
Police and immigration raided the property where he was staying in an investigation not linked to the Pakistan-born star.
A club source said: "The officers were after another guy but it appears Shahid panicked when he saw them and jumped."
Hameed is being treated at the city's Victoria Infirmary.
A club source said: "He hasn't committed any crime but Shahid's visa has been revoked and he will return to Pakistan as soon as he is well enough."
Hameed, 34, has been the top-scoring batsman at GHK for two seasons.
