Rangers legend accused of cheating U.S. lover

Exclusive Gers Hero Accused Of Cheating Us Lover

A STUNNING American claims she has been left s10,000 out of pocket after being dumped by Rangers legend Andy Goram.

Missy Lumbard, 37, says she had a secret two-year fling with the goalie after meeting him when he was guest of honour at a supporters club bash in Tampa, Florida.

Two years later her life is in tatters and instead of repaying the $20,000 she loaned him, she claims all he sends her are sleazy text messages.

Saleswoman Missy said: "I had never heard of Glasgow Rangers two years ago.

I wish that was still the case.

"From the first moment I was paying.

He asked me to pay taxis, meals and to loan him money.

"He said he was being paid for appearances over here and it hadn't come through yet and he couldn't access his UK accounts.

"I wrote him cheques and he cashed them and went on wild drinking sprees.

The total is more than 20,000. I probably won't see it again."

Missy claims Goram, 44, was texting her last week begging her to pay for a flight to the US so he could be with her.

She said: "He is still sending me dirty text messages. I got one yesterday. He has some cheek given that he knows how much he owes me." Over the past two years ex-Scotland star Goram has visited the US at least three times. On each trip he hooked up with Missy.

She said: "He was great fun at first and not bad in the sack when he could manage it. Most of the time he was drunk and messing around.

"He would lounge around the pool on a big inflatable Rangers FC chair drinking beer.

"I never thought a guy with his reputation would be so poor so I didn't think twice about giving him money.

"Now friends of his have told me he has nothing and lives on his past glories - taking drinks, food and hospitality from people and giving nothing.

"He believes people should be happy to pay for him to be in their company.

"I heard he got a black eye recently. I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone not too happy to be shelling out for him.

"He dumped me and flew back to Scotland. I'd love to come over and punch out his lights. The incredible thing is he still thinks he can come here and be with me.

"He must think he is God's gift to women. He is a rat."

Missy asked Rangers to repay her but says they washed their hands of Goram.

She added: "He was at a club function so surely they must take responsibility for his actions. The guy is a real hero to Scots over here but to me he's a zero."

Goram said last night "That's a lot of rubbish. She has been at a few of the events and I know who you mean but there's nothing like that going on, nothing sexual. I don't owe her a penny."

Last week we told how Goram did a runner from a Bangkok hotel without paying his bill.
