NEIGHBOURS of jailed have-a-go dad Stephen Armstrong have set up a website to battle yobs terrorising their area.
The dad-of-eight snapped and ran over a thug after vandals wreaked havoc on his street, smashing windows and scrawling graffiti across walls.
Yesterday, neighbour and web designer Tommy Rae, 27, said: "We're under attack from thugs who hang around our street corners and a dad is serving time for protecting his family.
"I'm not advocating vigilante behaviour but if we stand up to be counted, we can fight this as a community. We will not be intimidated and bullied."
The website will allow locals in South Park, Glasgow, to discuss the vandal problems in confidence.
Stephen, 47, was jailed for three years and eight months.
He is appealing the sentence and almost 30,000 Scots signed a petition urging his release.
Stephen's wife, Dorothy, said: "This won't help get Stephen released but something must be done to make life easier for the residents of South Park."
The website address is www.southparkvillage.org.
