A TOP striker has been taken to court after failing to stump up for the surveyor's report on his dream £230,000 villa.
Dundee United's top goal scorer, Noel Hunt, 25, is being sued by J&E Shepherd for £350.
Hunt, pictured below, agreed last summer to buy the home at Priory Grange, Inchture, near Dundee.
J & E Shepherd claim they were told to carry out the "inspection, valuation and report" on his behalf.
The action says: "Despite frequent requests for payment of the sum sued for, no payment has been made by the defender to the pursuer and action has been rendered necessary."
Perth Sheriff Court heard on Friday there had been no correspondence from Hunt. Officials intend to serve papers again ahead of a new court date.
Hunt was unavailable for comment.
