Mum to return to street where husband and son were killed in fire

A MUM will return to the street where her husband and toddler son died in an inferno at their home.

Geraldine Stocks plans to live in a house three doors along from where husband Colin, 45, and three-year-old Stuart were killed last Friday.

Council workers have been preparing the property in the Highland village of Foyers for Geraldine, 43, and her other son Andrew, seven.

They survived after fleeing the fierce blaze that destroyed their house.

Geraldine has been staying in Inverness.

But a family friend said: "Geraldine's coming back to the village because she feels comfortable among friends and neighbours."

The funerals of Colin and Stuart will take place in Inverness on Tuesday.
