Husband's agony as he accuses spurned wife of destroying bike

Exclusive Hubby's Agony As He Accuses Spurned Wife Of Destroying His Bike

BIKER Steven Bryden watched in disbelief as his beloved motorbike was crushed on the internet after he left his wife for another woman.

The security man has accused his spurned wife Fiona, 34, of wrecking his Kawasaki then posting photos of the destruction on Bebo.

Now he faces court after being charged with threatening to post porn pictures of Fiona on the web as his revenge.

Bryden, 44, who left Fiona last September to set up home with 25-year-old Kim McFarlane, admits threatening to post "compromising" pictures of Fiona but denies they were indecent.

Bryden, head of security at Craig Tara holiday park near Ayr, said: "We split up in September and at first Fiona and me were still on speaking terms but then it all went t*** up.

"I had a car and the bike - a Kawasaki ZZR 1100 - in the garage. As I was moving out I put my stuff in the car and took it, leaving my bike in the garage.

"In December Fiona put the bike through a crusher and posted pictures of it being lowered in on her Bebo site."

He claims he tried repeatedly to contact Fiona by phone and email but she just "blanked" him.

Bryden said: "I was frustrated and sent her an email saying: 'I have been trying to phone you constantly for two weeks. You obviously have ESP and know that it isme that is phoning and are blanking me. If you don't get in touch in 48 hours I have some compromising pictures that I am going to put on the internet.'

"These were my exact words. I never mentioned anything about indecent or obscene. Compromising could mean anything - it could be two people walking hand-in-hand down the street."

Bryden, who now lives with Kim in Ayr, posted a picture of the Kawasaki being lowered into the crusher on his own Bebo page with the caption: "Sad bitch did".

Another picture of the powerful bike was accompanied by the words: "She was my pride and joy til the cow got her hands on it."

He closed his entry on the networking website on Thursday.

At her home in Kilmaurs, near Kilmarnock, Fiona said: "I do not want to comment."

Bryden will stand trial at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court this month charged with sending grossly offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing emails to Fiona and threatening to post indecent photos of her on the internet.

He denies all the charges.
