Love Cheat Postman In Wife Attack
A LOVE-RAT postie whose police officer wife tried to run him over was once convicted of attacking her.
Cheating Colin Brand, 37, grabbed WPC Sarah Brand by the throat and threw her on to stairs.
He was fined £150 after the attack two years ago.
Last week we told how Lothian and Borders officer Sarah drove her car at Colin and his nurse lover Gillian Baird, 39.
The love triangle has rocked Haddington, East Lothian, where they live.
A friend of mum-of-two Brand said: "Sarah's had a terrible time of it and just snapped. Colin's vanished since the story was in the Sunday Mail."
Brand, who failed to give a breath test, was fined £1000 and banned from driving for a year. She now faces the sack.
