Riddle Of Meat Cleaver Murder Victim
A MURDER victim was found dying in the street clutching a meat cleaver.
The unnamed 41-year-old man was found lying in Beattie Avenue, Aberdeen, but later died in hospital.
Police confirmed a 29-year-old man will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow in connection with Friday's incident.
Yesterday the street remained sealed off as police interviewed the occupant of a converted farmhouse.
One resident said: "The dead guy had a meat cleaver in his hand - the blade must have been 10in long."
A separate murder inquiry has been launched after 48-year-old Valentine Dalzell was found dead at a flat near his home in Bedford Avenue, Clydebank.
