New Traffic Camera To Spot Car Users Set For Scotland

A NEW traffic camera which can detect how many people are in a car could soon be used in Scotland.

A prototype has already been tested in various locations, including the Forth Road Bridge.

It will be used at first to monitor car-sharing lanes in Leeds but other areas are interested in using the infra-red dtect technology.

Solo drivers in America often use blow-up dolls to get away with using car-sharing fast lanes, but the dtect camera will foil such cheating.
