Gail Sheridan Told Jail Could Mean Daughter Taken Into Care

FRIENDS of Gail Sheridan fear she may crack after police warned her daughter could be removed if she and Tommy are jailed.

In police interviews last week, she was told Gabrielle, two, could be taken.

A source said: "The stark fact is, if they were both jailed for perjury, their daughter could be removed."

Gail faced a six-hour grilling from police on Tuesday before being charged with theft and perjury.

The Sunday Mail can reveal she angered detectives by refusing to take off her trademark shades and defiantly repeating: "No comment." A source said: She was a completely different person to the glamorous wife waving to the crowds when Tommy won."

A friend said: "Having Gabrielle taken away is her worst nightmare - she dotes on that little girl."
