Commons Speaker's Son Faces Free Flights Probe
MARTIN'S MSP son Paul faces a probe after being caught up in a free flights row with his father.
The Speaker used Air Miles funded by taxpayers to treat relatives to business class trips between Glasgow and London.
Martin Jnr, the MSP for Glasgow Springburn, was among seven family members to benefit.
Scottish Parliament Standards Commissioner Dr Jim Dyer has been asked to examine claims Martin breached Holyrood's Code of Conduct by failing to register the flights as a gift.
Andrew Harlick, of the Federation of Student Nationalists, wrote to Dyer claiming Paul Martin, his wife and two children gained a benefit valued at £1440.
