BUS giant Stagecoach have removed their "bendy" coaches from the roads after three passengers were hurt yesterday.
The women were thrown from their seats as the back end of one of the vehicles began to swing on the M77, forcing the driver to stop on the hard shoulder.
The bus had to pull over at Darnley Brae, Newton Mearns, near Glasgow, as passengers feared for their safety.
Two women were treated for minor injuries at the scene. A third was taken to hospital.
The incident happened at noon on the Kilmarnock-to-Glasgow service.
Stagecoach immediately took their 14 "bendy" buses out of service and launched an investigation.
A company spokesman said: "The safety of our passengers and people is top priority.
"We are carrying out detailed checks."
Arrangements were made for other passengers to get to their destinations.
