Actor Brian Cox Reveals Life As Knight

SCOTS actor Brian Cox has revealed he was hypnotised - and discovered he was once a knight in medieval times who guarded the Holy Grail.

The X-Men star said he saw himself dressed in metal armour with a flag flying behind him when he underwent hypnotic regression.

But it was not until he and his daughter Margaret visited Russia that he discovered what his vision was about.

Brian said a psychic in Cornwall regressed him - a process that is said to bring back pre-birth memories.

He said: "I saw myself in chain mail armour. There was a flag behind me with a faded silver or golden cross on a background of red.

"About three years later, Margaret was studying in St Petersburg and we went to a museum.

"She shouted 'dad, dad' and dragged me to see the flag I had seen during my hypnosis. I was amazed.

"It was one used by the Knights Templar, who guarded the Holy Grail

"So I guess I must have been involved in that Baltic crusade."

Brian added: "I'm an agnostic and I'm not a 100 per cent believer in anything.

"But this experience was fascinating and gave me real pause for thought."
