Still Game stars reveal plans for teenage prequel

IF you think Still Game's Jack and Victor get up to high jinks, just wait until you meet them as teenagers.

Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill - who play Scotland's most famous OAPs - plan a prequel featuring the Craiglang gang's youthful exploits.

The new show, provisionally titled Game For Anything, would be set in the 1960s with Ford and Greg playing Jack and Victor's dads. And they will look like the pair's young doubles in the Still Game title sequence.

Ford said: "It would be a great thing to do. The characters grew up together." Ford came up with the idea while recording the Radio Scotland series Do You Remember The First Time? He said: "My first love was a girl called Jane, when I was five at Thompson Street School."
