Tragic Ben Comes Home In A Coma

TRAGIC groom Ben Mullany arrived back in Britain yesterday - still in a coma.

The 31-year-old's bride, Catherine, was shot dead in a bungled robbery during their honeymoon in Antigua.

Ben was badly wounded, with a bullet lodged in his head. His parents Ken and Marilyn insisted he be flown back home to Wales.

Ben arrived at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, early yesterday - his late wife trained as a doctor there.

Clinical director Dr Pushpiner Man-gat said tests would be carried out, adding: "Ben remains critically ill and in a coma."
