Rocked Rod picks his dream Celtic team

CELTIC-DAFT rocker Rod Stewart has revealed the Argentinian dream team he would love to see sign for the club.

The 63-year-old was asked who he would snap up if he had the pick of the planet's players - and opted for Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Manchester United's Carlos Tevez.

Rod said: "Either of them would be fantastic signings for our team. We suffered against Messi in the Champions League."

Before cracking the charts, Hoops fan Rod was signed to Brentford.

He added: "I was quite good but I lacked the commitment.

"Back then, young players had to clean boots for the senior players and I was not up for that."
