CHECK-OUT girl Jane Clark married her supermarket sweetheart at the store where they both work yesterday.
The blushing bride walked down aisle 25 - seasonal produce - before tying the knot with customer service worker Kenny Sutherland.
Hundreds of delighted Saturday afternoon shoppers joined the 30 official guests for the 2pm ceremony at the branch of Sainsbury's in Baldovie Road, Dundee.
The pair ditched their distinctive orange and blue uniforms for the day in favour of traditional wedding attire.
After they wed in front of the shop's flower stand, beaming Kenny, 32, said: "I was very nervous and literally quaking in my boots, so I am glad it is all over."
The former shelf-stacker added: "It's been a rollercoaster of emotions and it was lovely so many people turned out to see us get married."
The couple asked Sainsbury's chief executive Justin King for permission to hold their nuptials at the store.
Jane said: "I know that lots of people have been surprised by our wedding venue but we both think it's a great start to married life."
After making their vows, the couple happily signed the registrar as man and wife - and requested the Birdie Song was played as they did so.
The couple met at the store three years ago andKenny proposed in 2006 at a restaurant in front of her family.
Jane told him to let her finish her meal then ask again - and when he did she happily said yes.
Jane, 41, has two daughters, Dominique, 21, and Sarah, 18, from her first marriage.
The romantic service was also broadcast live over the internet as Dundee City Council webcast civil marriages.
Registrar Grant Law, who conducted the service, said: "This is one of the most unusual requests we've had".
