Heartbreaking Letter Of Love From Jailed Dad's Children

IN a poignant letter to their dad in prison, Stephen's heartbroken children reveal what life is like without him and how much they all want their beloved daddy back home where he belongs

Dear Daddy,

Only two weeks have passed but it seems you've been gone forever.

The house doesn't feel like a home without you. I wish you were home with us.

The twins don't understand why you are not here. They keep asking mum where you are. She has told them you have gone to work, but for a long, long time. But they are so sad. Emma had a bad dream the other night that a bad man had cut her hand. Mum tried to calm her down but she kept crying for you, saying she wanted you home.

We are all trying to take care of Chloe. We know she is your little Princess and she has taken it the hardest. She cries every night because you are not there to read her a story and tuck her in.

It was her birthday this week. We tried to make it special by making cakes but she said she just wanted you to make them for her.

The five of us boys are still going to football but it's really difficult trying to organise lifts because there are so many of us. We only realise now how much you did for us.

We miss you so much. Please come home now.

Mum is trying to be brave but cries a lot. We try to make her better but we know the only thing that will make her better is if you come home.

Dad, you shouldn't be there because you are so good. We love you so much and miss you so much too.
