CHLOE

This seven-year-old cat lives with Margaret Davidson in Broughty Ferry, Dundee.

Where did you get her?

I adopted her when her owner couldn't look after her any more.

What does she eat?

Felix cat food, tuna, cheese and butter.

Where is her name from?

She was already called Chloe when I got her.

What does she like doing?

Chasing birds and sleeping.

She also enjoys exploring in all the neighbours' houses.

How does she behave around people?

She's very friendly and will go off with anyone. We have to keep her in when the folk across the road get their shopping delivered because the drivers leave the vans open and she'd jump in.

What's the oddest thing she has done?

She visits the neighbours and knocks on their doors with her paw.

KEELY

This two-year-old labrador lives with the McGuffie family in Troon, Ayrshire.

Where did you get her?

From a breeder in Kilsyth, Stirlingshire.

What does she eat?

Supadog dried food and Pedigree pouches.

Where is her name from?

We met another dog called Keely and really liked the name. It suits her.

What does she like doing?

Splashing around in the sea when we go to the beach, chasing her ball and bouncing on the trampoline.

How does she behave around people?

She loves meeting folk and playing with kids.

What's the oddest thing she has done?

We were walking past the leisure centre and someone had left the door to the pool open, so she jumped in and began swimming around.

COOPER

This five-month-old beagle lives with John Philliban in Stenhousemuir.

Where did you get him?

I adopted him when he was 12 weeks old from Ravensmead Kennels in New Cumnock, Ayrshire.

What does he eat?

His main meal is Beta puppy food but for a treat he likes cheese, tea, mini sausages and porridge.

Where is his name from?

I called him after the Mini Cooper car.

What does he like doing?

He loves going for walks, digging holes in the garden and running away with anything he finds lying around the house.

How does he behave around people?

He is a big softie and really friendly. He loves meeting other dogs too.

What's the oddest thing he has done?

He once tried to get into our neighbour's garden but got his wee head stuck under the gate.

JESS AND MILLIE

Spaniels Jess, nine, and four-year-old Millie live with Sharon Edgar in Coventry.

Where did you get them?

They are not related but I got both from local breeders in Warwickshire.

What do they eat?

Jess is on a special diet so gets low-fat dried foods. Millie eats any dry dog food.

Where are their names from?

My daughter Jennifer chose Millie - coincidentally her breeder had also given her that name. I just liked the name Jess.

What do they like doing?

They both love walks and being petted.

How do they behave around people?

They tend to bark at visitors but calm down quickly. They love people they know and want to be clapped.

What's the oddest thing they have done?

Millie likes to steal socks and slippers and hide them in the garden and they both love our holidays in Hawick.
