BAILEY

The two-year-old cocker spaniel lives with Liz Sharp and family in Barlanark, Glasgow.

Where did you get him?

We bought him from a breeder in Airdrie.

What does he eat?

He's on Pal dog food but loves chicken for treats.

Where is the name from?

We picked it because his ears and hair on top of his head are the same colour as the drink. It was also my favourite tipple at the time we got him.

What does he like doing?

Going for long walks.

How does he behave around people?

He is friendly - sometimes over-friendly. I've had to apologise for a lot of paw marks on people's trousers.

What's the oddest thing he has done?

When we went camping, he climbed inside my sleeping bag with me.

JOOLS

This five-year-old cat lives with the Knox family in Milngavie, near Glasgow.

Where did you get her?

From Cats Protection in Airdrie.

What does she eat?

She adores prawns and tuna. They are her favourites.

Where is the name from?

We called her Jools because we think she is a wee jewel.

What does she like doing?

She loves rolling on the carpet on her back so she can get her tummy tickled.

How does she behave around people?

She's very friendly. She loves people and getting lots of attention.

What's the oddest thing she has done?

She likes to hide behind the sofa and jumps out to surprise you. She's really playful.

ROXY

This four-month-old black mask pug lives with Julie Cotterill and her boyfriend in East Kilbride.

Where did you get her?

From a breeder in Helensburgh. She was the only pup in the litter left but would have definitely been our first choice.

What does she eat?

Anything given the chance and would do anything for treats but we keep her to a strict diet of puppy food mixer and the occasional bit of cold meat.

Where is the name from?

It suits her personality. She's feisty and bossy but her face would melt any heart.

What does she like doing?

She loves playing football with other dogs - especially bigger ones.

How does she behave around people?

She thinks humans were put on this planet only to play.

What's the oddest thing she has done?

She's always trying to get through our neighbour's cat-flap.

MOLLIE AND BUSTER

The 11-month-old and six-year-old Westies live with the Watsons in Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire.

Where did you get them?

Buster came from a breeder in Ayrshire and Mollie came from New Lanark.

What do they eat?

Dried mixer and Pedigree pouches.

Where are the names from?

We thought Buster looked like Buster Merry field from Only Fools And Horses. We first thought of calling Mollie Angel but she's anything but.

What do they like doing?

Playing with each other, although Buster always gets a raw deal as Mollie either hangs from his ear or his tail.

How do they behave around people?

They are both friendly and love when people visit.

What's the oddest thing they have done?

Buster used to pinch underwear from the washing basket. Mollie plays football and dribbles the ball like a professional.
