CHARLIE

This eight-month-old Lhasa apso lives with David Morgan and Fiona McDonald in Elgin, Moray.

Where did you get him?

From a breeder in Hopeman, Moray, two weeks before Christmas.

What does he eat?

Bakers Complete Puppy, butchers meat pouches for a treat and he loves pigs' ears.

Where is the name from?

We chose it before we got him, we thought it was cute.

What does he like doing?

Getting petted and walking along Elgin High Street to get lots of attention.

How does he behave around people?

He's very sociable and loves children.

What's the oddest thing he has done?

He waits for the washing machine cycle to stop so he can get the liquid container to play football with. He goes into the machine looking for it if it doesn't fall out with the laundry.

PATCH

This three-year-old guinea pig lives with Lucie Cordner in Hardgate,

Clydebank.

Where did you get her?

She came from Robert Ryan's Pet Shop in Dumbarton.

What does she eat?

She nibbles on everything but she especially loves her fruit and veg. Her favourites are carrots, broccoli, apple and cabbage.

Where is the name from?

We decided to call her Patch because she has a perfect circle of ginger over her right eye.

What does she like doing?

She likes to be stroked and played with and she also loves to eat.

How does she behave around people?

She loves all people, especially ones who scratch her back.

What's the oddest thing she has done?

She once posed on top of an apple for her photo to be taken. She can be quite the show-off when she's in the mood.

TROY

John and Eileen Stone, of Sandyhills, Glasgow are the devoted owners of this nine-month-old St Bernard cross. Where did you get him?

From a breeder in Bellshill, Lanarkshire.

What does he eat?

He scoffs anything at all, including shoes, which can be a bit of a nuisance.

Where is the name from?

He is named after the film Troy. We think he is just as handsome of the star of that film, Brad Pitt.

What does he like doing?

He loves playing with his doggy friend who is a lurcher but he is very friendly and will play with anyone else he meets.

How does he behave around people?

He loves people and attention and is also very affectionate and likes to sit on your knee.

What's the oddest thing he has done?

He went into a neighbour's house and tried to sit on her knee. He is seven and a half stone and still growing so he is a bit of a lump to have on your lap.

BUBBLES

This one-year-old cat is owned by Sunnygrace Darling, nine, and her

family in Dundee.

Where did you get her?

She came from a litter of six. She was the smallest one and we fell in love with her straight away.

What does she eat?

She loves tuna, yogurt and porridge.

Where is the name from?

We thought she looked like a little bubble when we saw her for the first time and the name just popped into our heads. It really suits her.

What does she like doing?

She will bring a small toy back and lay it down beside you when you throw it for her - maybe she is confused and thinks she is a dog.

How does she behave around people?

She is friendly and comes up to say hello. She loves being petted and fussed over.

What's the oddest thing he has done?

She is always sitting on the bird bath - so when she is not pretending to be a dog she is pretending to be a bird.
