Our Doggy Blog Pets Corner
We have had some great news - remember our appeal a few weeks ago about the poor little boxer, Kai, who has a heart condition and was desperately in need of a good home?
Well, thanks to us he now has found one! Kai is happily settled with his lovely new family - canine and human - with a young dog to play with and an older one to hang out with when he needs to relax.
We are SO happy our fans have responded and found a home for this amazing young dog - we are very proud of you all. And ourselves!
Of course our friends over at Boxer Welfare Scotland still have lots of other dogs needing nice new homes and they don't have health problems or anything - they just need love and affection.
So if anyone out there thinks they could offer a lovely boxer a home, just go to www.boxerwelfarescotland.co.uk or call Lorraine on 01779 812799 or Karen on 01343 813999.
We do get very sad about this sort of thing as it is hard to imagine life without our home and our humans.
We feel so sorry for homeless dogs which is why we do all we can to help charities like The Dogs Trust - they are our favourite.
I am a little bit sad this week. Me and my girlfriend Molly were going to have puppies but now the vet says she is too old - she is only five! I think it's rubbish.
Molly's mum says I will need to trade her in for a younger model but I don't want to - I like Molly!
Silly vets, I hate them. They stick things in you, prod at you and pull bits that shouldn't be pulled.
Next time we go to see our vet Ronan I might pee on him just to show how much I am annoyed at all vets about this.
Still, I suppose the news about Kai cheered me up - I am very glad he has found a nice home thanks to his famous pals me and Fawks.
I want us to go see him but I don't know if it would be too much excitement for him.
I love meeting other dogs - especially ones who are fans of ours.
This weather has been doing my head in recently, it's all over the place. One minute it's sunny, then rainy, then freezing.
Wish it would just make its mind up and be one thing or another.
And getting hosed down outside in the cold is so not fun - bring on the sun.
