Scots star Butler dates his next door neighbour

A DANCE beauty seen smooching with Hollywood hunk Gerard Butler has revealed the star is her neighbour.

The 38-year-old Scot took Cheryl Burke out to dinner at Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria Parker's new restaurant and on to a Hollywood party.

The Scots star of 300 had been linked with Cameron Diaz after they were spotted out on the town four times in two weeks.

Cheryl, 24, is on the US version of DancingWith The Stars and recently split from her boyfriend.

Her dance partner, Chilean actor Cristian de la Fuente, acted as matchmaker.

She said: "Cristian introduced us and we went to dinner one night. Gerard actually lives in my apartment building."

But Cheryl remained coy about reports she was seen snogging Gerald.

She said: "Everyone kisses each other."
