HEARTBROKEN Jade Black spent £180 on hair extensions to give herself a lift after the death of her baby daughter.
Jade, 21, lost Lily at 11 days old to genetic disorder Turner syndrome.
But she claims mobile hairdresser Carol McCloskey made such a mess she had to pay £300 to have the extensions fixed.
Jade, of Sighthill, Edinburgh, said: "She knows what I've been through and doesn't give a damn. She won't return my calls."
Jade met McCloskey - who came recommended by web firm Cinderella Hair - at the Woodside Bistro in Ingliston in July.
She said: "McCloskey said to meet her at a pub. It turned out she worked there and started doing my hair next to customers.
"She took me into the toilets but I couldn't see the back."
Van driver Jade was horrified when got home. She said: "It was shocking. It made me feel even worse."
She demanded a refund from McCloskey but got nowhere.
That's when she called me in.
I got on to McCloskey, who insisted Jade said she loved her hair before leaving the pub.
But she added: "I've sent her a cheque. I don't want hassle."
Now Jade can put it all behind her...and start to move on.
