DIANE Lornie forked out £11,300 on a luxury kitchen but five months later it is still not finished.
Angry Diane, 48, signed up with Bishopbriggs-based Compare Trade Kitchens.com.
Nowshe wishes she had never met boss Michael Sinclair, bankrupted days after she paid a £4000 deposit.
She is still waiting for:
Appliances such as a oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine.
Floor, worktops and breakfast bar.
A sink, door, window, cupboard doors and handles.
Diane, of Hamilton, said: "The fitters walked out on December 20.
It was to be finished for Christmas."
Single Diane paid the money in three instalments to Sinclair, listed as the firm's secretary.
Childcare worker Diane said: "The deposit was £4000. I then paid him £7000 and £300 for sockets.
"I went to a lawyer and Trading Standards but they say it's a civil matter and can't help.
"Sinclair promised to repayme £10,000 so I could get the kitchen finished by someone else but I have never seen it."
I got on to Sinclair who said: "We did work worth £6500 with £5000moreoutstanding.
"I am going to get a loan but cannot accept giving a full refund. That would mean no work was done and that is not true."
His lawyer is writing to Diane with details but she said: "I have had too many broken promises already."
If she doesn't get the cash you'll be hearing about it next week.
