I AM furious with my local council as I am paying more council tax than my neighbours. How do I get a refund?

ASK the council tax department to give you a letter detailing the band your property is in and why. If this differs from your neighbours' tax bands, contact your valuation office and lodge an appeal with a valuation tribunal.
