SCOTS workers are less likely to call in sick for fear they will lose their jobs due to the credit crunch.

One in three claimed they are less likely to take time off than a year ago, a Health and Safety executive survey revealed.

Psychologist Gary Cooper said: "Employees are suffering from the classic symptoms of presenteeism."
