PLANS for 800 insurance jobs in Scotland will go ahead despite the financial turmoil following the collapse of Lehman Brothers in the US.
Aviva - formerly Norwich Union - will press on with two Scottish centres of excellence in Perth and Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow. Bosses hope to have them up and running by 2010.
A spokesman said: "We have very limited exposure to Lehman Brothers and this will not affect our plans."
