Building Trades Get £3.8m Boost

A NEW £3.8million centre for training future generations of construction workers has opened its doors.

The National Construction College in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire, will provide much-needed support to the industry with up to 160 apprenticeships in areas like general construction, scaffolding and groundsworks.

A spokesman said the facility would support the growing need for training in the industry.
