MORE than 400 jobs could be created after the Government approved a £4.5million grant which will help transform derelict land in the Highlands.
The investment, which will be used to fund projects in Inverness, Invergordon, Alness and Wick, could see the construction of 135 new homes and more than 7000sq yards of business space.
Approval has been granted in principle with Highland Council officials awaiting a final ruling on the award.
