UP to 200 jobs are to be created thanks to oil drilling and mining deals.

Engineering giant Amec expect to add substantial contracts and will recruit in Aberdeen and London.

The firm already employ more than 700 workers in England and hope to hire more design and engineering staff.

The expansion comes as the firm move away from construction and road building into the lucrative oil and gas business.
