ALMOST 4000 people have come off benefits and gone back to work in the last six months under a groundbreaking scheme.

Glasgow Works say there has been a fall of 3670 in the number of people claiming incapacity benefit and Jobseekers' allowances.

The project was set up two years ago and aims to get 12,000 claimants off benefits and back into employment or training.
