WORKERS in the north east of Scotland have the best work-life balance, according to a survey by American Express Insurance.

The firm says that four out of five people in the UK are too busy in their jobs to spend time on home and social activities.

Employees in Yorkshire were said to have the worst work-life balance, missing out on exercise, cooking and quality time with partners and children.
